Millennium Trust Company, LLC, a leading provider of retirement, custodial, and consumer-directed benefit services, has appointed Michelle Spellerberg as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately.

Spellerberg joins Millennium Trust after more than eight years with Alliant, a nationwide digital credit union, where she held the position of Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. While at Alliant, she led the firm’s marketing and brand strategy, overseeing acquisition, marketing technology, analytics, media relations, internal communications, and lifecycle marketing initiatives, and the expansion of creative and enterprise activities. During her tenure at Alliant, the credit union’s assets nearly doubled to $15 billion and its market share grew for eight consecutive years as Alliant transformed its consumer banking business from a retail-and-online model to a digital-only financial institution with a successful organic marketing acquisition strategy.
As head of Millennium Trust’s marketing team, Spellerberg joins the company shortly after its acquisition of PayFlex, a leading provider of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and other consumer-directed benefits solutions. The deal, which was completed in June, positions Millennium Trust as one of the few companies that can provide a full array of financial wellness services at every stage of life.

Prior to Alliant, Spellerberg held positions as Chief Marketing Officer at Sikich, a technology-enabled professional services firm, and as a Senior Director of Emerging Media Solutions with CareerBuilder.com, a global talent marketplace that provides solutions to employers and job seekers. Spellerberg earned an MBA from DePaul University and a B.A. from Drake University.
